Maxima Machineries is committed in promoting social responsibility with the involvement and support of the whole organization. This is in line with our vision of ensuring the success of our business partners of which the community or society is a key component. Through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, the company is continuously implementing activities that contribute to the well being of our societal, key community, and environmental systems. By directing our efforts and available resources towards sustainable and progressive social endeavors, we are determined to live out our role as a responsible member of our society.
Maxima is a usual sponsor of the Quezon City International Marathon (QCIM). The employees are encouraged to join and bring their relatives and friends and run with them for this annual event. For QCIM 2010, 417 Maxima registrants joined together for a fun-filled run at the Quezon City Circle.
Maxima continually supports Philippine National Red Cross through a yearly blood donation by volunteers to the company. Since 2005, Maxima conducts a Blood Letting Activity that is usually held every June.
Every year, Maxima employees allot time to pack pails of goods and hand it out to some chosen less fortunate families. Last Dec 2010, 500 families enjoyed a Noche Buena of spaghetti, bread, ham, juice and coffee.
Maxima held its 1st Tree Planting Activity on Feb 2011. Through this activity, the company aims to promote a cleaner and greener community and let its employees experience and give a bit of their time to help in improving the state of our environment and be aware about the ways to preserve our environment and prevent global warming. This is one of Maxima’s ways of giving back to the community and also expressing our company’s concern for the environment.
For the year 2011, Maxima envisions Gawad Kalinga Brgy. Bulaklakan Republic as the company's center for social responsibility undertakings. The company aspires to help educate the community's children as well as develop new skills for the adults. Through this activity, we hope to promote and encourage community growth and development to our chosen GK community.
